Nestled at the edge of Kuitpo Forest, this divine stone building was built by the locals for the locals back in 1926. Our talented friend Jade has given it a breath of fresh air and brought it back to grandeur. With a huge range of hire equipment, Jade is conveniently known for being a skilled event manager and stylst with her company Mase Event Design. The hall with its grand high ceilings and polished timber floors provides a stunning blank canvas with which to style and, my oh my, there are so many ways you could not only style it but use it! The hall has a capacity of 100 but in creatively utilising the adjoining turfed lawn this capacity can be easily brought up to 200 or around 150 seated.
Venture into the 54 hectare property, over the bridge and through gum-tree studded countryside to find your own private wedding retreat at Old Woodhouse Manor. This two story, heritage listed mansion is yours for 48 hours and is destined to provide the perfect backdrop or venue for a very special and unique ceremony. Hidden staircases, wide verandas, colonial gardens and pine-tree forests are a photographer’s dream and your Wedding at Woodhouse will allow you to capture the many varied landscapes without ever leaving your party. With its stunning country garden setting and rustic warehouse style, Nether Hill Farm makes the perfect informal and flexible wedding venue or event space. Set on over 35 acres, with an extensive country garden, rambling paths, secluded lawns and paddocks there are a range of options for photographs and endless possibilities for a wedding reception, ceremony & pre-dinner drinks. Including a large undercover option which seats up to 130 guests, ‘The Packing Shed' has a raw warehouse feel, concrete floors and vintage chairs. Owner Kate Brew has an incredible eye for detail and has created a space that will make all your dreams come true.

Home to 'The Tree' and what a tree it is. This family property sits in the heart of the Kuitpo Forest region only 40 minutes south of Adelaide. Two generations ago, inspired by the natural beauty of the area, they planted a small pine forest on grazing land. At its centre, in an atmospheric clearing, stands a beautiful gum, so unique it has become known simply as 'The Tree'.
Today, Burbrook Forest is a remarkable space for weddings and other events.
Located in the southern Adelaide Hills, the property’s rich soils and gentle hills overlook some of the finest meadows, hills and forests in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Grazing the 30 acre property are around 18 beautiful horses, the gentlest of which are offered by arrangement for personalised photography. The private homestead, wrapped by beautiful gardens backs onto an obscenely large turfed lawn which over looks the property and the surrounding hills. This area could easily accommodate a wedding of up to 200 guests with space for a marquee, outdoor dining and lawn games. However, it has an understated air almost certainly brought by natural beauty that could allow an event of 60 to feel welcome and at home. All spaces offer good vehicle access allowing access for our mobile bar.
Twenty years of love has gone into this garden and even just approaching the side gate you can feel it. The layered garden provides many different intimate spaces for guests to mingle and for various seating options. The covered verandah of the old stone cottage has a beautiful view of the garden and is the perfect backdrop for a feasting station or rustic photo booth, with space for additional mixed seating. The pièce de résistance in our eyes is the wide gravelled laneway which is wrapped by large hedges and seasonal foliage. Our bar looks fantastic at the end of the laneway with a large trained grapevine providing a beautiful living archway for a small ceremony of up to 50 guests.
Woodburn Historic Homestead is a great venue for those that want the customised handcrafted look and flexibility without the stress. Owner Cindy Westphalen is a highly awarded wedding caterer and brings years of experience to this property something you can see at every corner. Wedding packages include assistance with planning and suppliers, all cutlery, crockery and glassware, and a bunch of other helpful inclusions including an optional three nights accommodation package. Cindy offers a variety of catering packages and allows BYO alcohol ideal for those that want to serve french champagne but can’t bear the retail price points usually associated with it.

Within minutes of stepping foot on the property, we had ideas flooding in for boho festival set-ups, tipi tents, food trucks, lux vintage styling, outdoor receptions with canopies of quirky lighting, dance floors under the stars and balmy beach vibes. Offering 800 sqm of manicured lawn surrounded by gardens and ocean views Aldinga Bay Bungalows truly is the perfect blank canvas for those wanting a DIY wedding.
Recently launched Tipi Lane is quickly becoming well known for providing statement tipis (teepees), special event furniture and styling services across the Fleurieu Peninsula, Adelaide Hills and broader regions of South Australia. But, what not so many people know is that Tipi Lane also offer their16 acre McLaren Vale property for events. This blank canvas, dry hire space allows you the freedom to bring in your preferred suppliers, caterers and even your own beverages. Our Speakeasy Bar looks incredible here. Think statement tipis, boho bench seating, lighting and fire pits looking over the McLaren Vale region and you’ve nailed Tipi Lane, or as they say ‘our place’.
