Mt Beare
This authentic working sheep station is 50 minutes from the CBD or a short drive from McLaren Vale. Set on 500 acres of private and secluded valley with nothing but country views as far as the eye can see, this is a venue that has space in spades.
No need for marquees here – their enormous iconic Australian wool shed with 100 years of character can seat up to 180 people, or up to 250 standing for a cocktail reception. The shed has been lovingly refurbished with high quality finishes, luxury touches and lots of little details including beautiful lighting fixtures and sound system. With a massive 10x10m dance floor centred within the huge wool shed, this space will literally be the heart of the party. There is also a staging area for a live band, string quartet or DJ adjacent to the dance floor

Glen Lea Homestead boasts all of the charm and beauty you could possibly wish for from one the most historic properties in the Adelaide Hills. We’re thrilled beyond words to now be officially partnering with the owners to offer this very special property for a limited number of weddings each year..
Kuitpo Hall
Nestled at the edge of Kuitpo Forest, this divine stone building was built by the locals for the locals back in 1926. Our talented friend Jade has given it a breath of fresh air and brought it back to grandeur. With a huge range of hire equipment, Jade is conveniently known for being a skilled event manager and stylst with her company Mase Event Design. The hall with its grand high ceilings and polished timber floors provides a stunning blank canvas with which to style and, my oh my, there are so many ways you could not only style it but use it! The hall has a capacity of 100 but in creatively utilising the adjoining turfed lawn this capacity can be easily brought up to 200 or around 150 seated.

In the heart of Uraidla and the beautiful Adelaide Hills, this heritage building of white walls and exposed wooden beams is a blank canvas. Dress the hall up or dress it down, ideas are endless for you to create your own special event.

Mandalay House & Garden
Our very first time at Mandalay literally took our breath away. The most unique and luxurious wedding venue in the Adelaide Hills. Owner and manager Deb has thought of everything. Her stunning property its so versatile with numerous options for ceremonies and receptions.Breathtaking acres of stunning manicured and lush gardens, are framed by rolling countryside. Whether you are considering a formal marquee event for 200, a cocktail garden party for 100 or a country style barn wedding there is so much to choose from. Located just 45 minutes from Adelaide, Mandalay House & Garden offers is an inspiring and accommodating space for all styles of celebrations.
Brin Farm
Located in the southern Adelaide Hills, the property’s rich soils and gentle hills overlook some of the finest meadows, hills and forests in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Grazing the 30 acre property are around 18 beautiful horses, the gentlest of which are offered by arrangement for personalised photography. The private homestead, wrapped by beautiful gardens backs onto an obscenely large turfed lawn which over looks the property and the surrounding hills. This area could easily accommodate a wedding of up to 200 guests with space for a marquee, outdoor dining and lawn games. However, it has an understated air almost certainly brought by natural beauty that could allow an event of 60 to feel welcome and at home. All spaces offer good vehicle access allowing access for our mobile bar.

The Brae Homestead
We are at the beginning of our journey with a new venue and are working hard on developments as we go, so we haven’t wanted to organise specific and fixed package prices at this early stage.
We are a DIY venue for now and offer a flat venue hire fee.
We are pretty much open to your ideas and are letting people have the venue for the weekend, organise what your heart tells you and we will follow and try our very best to make it all possible.
We would love you to come and see the space for yourself so we can meet you, talk about what we can offer and see if we are a good fit.

There are choice menu ideas and complete custom menus available. We have a strong emphasis on working closely with our suppliers to bring you fresh, local, top quality products. The variety and fresh tasty produce is why we believe Chopping Board is the perfect choice for your next event.

Tess & Erin - Wedding Singer
Sisters Erin & Tess Fowler have taken a lifetime of shared experience to create music that resonates with honest emotion and beauty. Their music features rich, soulful vocal harmonies and acoustic guitar in an ethereal blend of soul, folk and pop music. Performing highlights include Womadelaide Festival, Guitar Festival, Macy Gray support act, as well as tours to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Erin and Tess perform in venues all around the world and love sharing music locally at wedding ceremonies and receptions across South Australia. They enjoy working with clients to create a contemporary and heartfelt sound. Their music is particularly suited for the wedding ceremony itself, accompanying key moments including walking down the aisle and the signing.
Their wedding packages include sets of live music up to 3 hours in total, including public liability insurance, travel within 30k's of the Adelaide CBD and a free consultation to help create the perfect set list.
